    The Aquascape Aquaforce Pro 4000-8000 Pump has an asynchronous motor, which is made to be cost effective.. It can be put at the bottom of the pond and will handle up to 1/4" solids. It's pre-filter cage will allow plenty of water to come in without getting clogged. With the new second generation remote, it has a numeral indicator to increase or decrease the flow. It can now be turned on or off without having to be next to the pump.
