Atlantic's TidaWave MD1000 magnetic induction pump is a great choice for water features requiring lower head heights. This pump considerably less power than most similar pumps due to its magnetic induction motor. And not just energy-efficient, this pump is also highly reliable, requiring less maintenance than many similar pumps as a result of its protective pre-filter, replaceable impeller, and removeable base. The pre-filter prevents solid particulates from entering the pump and causing damage. The large, stable base serves to anchor the pump, and this base can also be removed for installation in particularly tight applications. The MD1000's replaceable impeller assembly and oversized ceramic impeller shaft, which resists damage better than similar steel impellers, work to keep your installation running smoothly for as long as possible. The TidalWave MD1000 will keep your water feature reliably running for years to come.
The MD1000 features a max flow rate of 1,080 gallons per hour, with an optimal head height of 0-10 feet. This pump is extremely energy-efficient, using a maximum of  just 90 watts. Assuming an energy cost of 10 cents per kilowatt-hour, that means this pump can be continuously operated for less than 22 cents a day, or approximately .50 per month! The included fittings are tapered to fit 1" to 1.5" tubing. This pump features a power cord measuring 20 feet in length.
